GayRomLit - Unspoiled - Sue Brown

1. The list of events is amazing. What are you looking forward to the most?

In all honesty, meeting people is what I'm going for. The events are great but meeting people I talk to everyday is the important thing.

2. Where will you be traveling from and who will you be bringing with you?

I'm travelling with Tom Webb, and coming from London, via Boston and Atlanta.

3. If you could ask an attendee from last year one question to help prepare you
for GRL what would it be?

Will you hold my hand?

4. This will be my first ever, public appearance and I'm nervous as hell. Is
this your very first public appearance or have you attended other event? If
you've attended other events, what were they like? Were you nervous the first
time?

I've been to the UK meet but that's small and like meeting people for a cuppa. Ever so friendly. Was I nervous? I am always nervous.

5. I am very quiet when I meet new people (Oh shut up Joel I hear you snickering
from here) Are you outgoing? More reserved?

Petrified. If we meet one on one I'm chatty. In a crowd I want to hide.

6. I admit, I'm going to be like a crazy stalker fan of Rick R. Reed. Who are
you looking forward most to meeting?

Tom Webb. Originally that was the whole idea - to meet him. Also Christopher Koehler - he makes me laugh.

7. No way in hell could I stand up and do a reading? I'd be spitting,
sputtering, and turning 50 shades of RED. Did you sign up to do an author
reading?

Petrified remember?

8. What do you think readers and other authors will be most surprised by when
they meet you?

I'm a short, dumpy middle-aged woman. There, nothing to be surprised about.

9. I hear the boys of our genre put on a hell of a party! Do you plan to attend
the Cowboy party Thursday night?

Er, okay. Do I have to dress up? I have a pink sparkly cowboy hat.

10. Go ahead you can be honest with me. You want to know what is under Damon
Suede's Kilt don't you?

Only if there are photos as well.

Description:
Dan Young and Noel Murohy have been together since Dan auditioned to dance at the bar where Noel worked. Now they’ve found a home to call their own: Barnacles Cottage, a quaint little house on the beach—their forever home.

But not long after they move in, their dream becomes a nightmare: a car accident puts Noel into a coma. Dan’s and Noel’s parents keep a bedside vigil, but Noel doesn’t wake. Then Dan finds a picture in the attic. At first it seems to be a painting of a young boy, but even as Dan watches, the boy’s face changes… into Noel’s. To save his lover’s life, Dan will have to unravel the artifact’s history—and he’ll have to do it before the picture takes Noel away from him forever.

  2. Oh, we're mostly dumpy, middle-aged ladies - you'll fit right in! Really, tho I joke about being panic-stricken, it's about the traveling, not the event. You will have a great time! Everyone is very nice. And those who aren't - tell me who they are and I will beat them up for you!
